2019年是中华人民共和国成立70周年、葡萄牙与中华人民共和国建交40周年，澳门主权回归20周年。
2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Portugal and the People’s Republic of China and the 20 years since the transfer of sovereignty of Macau from the Portuguese Republic to the People’s Republic of China.
除了与上述二十世纪重大历史事件相关的课题研究外，本届会议还将围绕以下四个涉及中葡关系的主题开展讨论。参会学者可选择大会发言或提交论文海报：
In addition to studies related to these remarkable events in the history of the 20th century, oral presentations or billboards can be presented in this congress, in the following four thematic areas of great relevance in the relations between Portugal and China:
1. “一带一路” 倡议 “Belt and Road Initiative”
2013年，中国提出两项新战略：“丝绸之路经济带” 和“21世纪海上丝绸之路”， 简称为“一带一路倡议”确立了其在全球增长与发展中的地位，并为各大洲之间的合作建立了平台。“丝绸之路经济带”通过中亚和西亚的陆路连接中国与欧洲，“21世纪海上丝绸之路”通过海路连接中国、印度、中东和非洲，并经苏伊士运河通往欧洲。
In 2013, China outlined two new strategies that shape its alignment in global growth and development, and aim to establish cooperation platforms between several continents: the “Silk Road Economic Belt”, which aims to connect China to Europe by land, through Central and Western Asia; and the ” 21st Century Maritime Silk Road”, which aims to connect China, India, the Middle East and Africa by sea and thence through the Suez Canal to Europe.
本主题论坛以讨论这一倡议的重要性为主要目的，旨在了解其意义及对全球经济和各国人民之间关系的影响，特别是对中国、葡萄牙和葡语国家关系所产生的影响。
Thus, one of the main ends of this panel is to discuss the relevance of this initiative and seek to understand its significance and its impact on the global economy and relations between nations, especially between China, Portugal and the Portuguese-speaking countries.
2. 语言对话：文学、翻译与教学 Dialogues between Languages: Literature, Translation and Teaching
葡萄牙文学中不乏中国形象。它不仅源于葡国海家们的征程，也出自几个世纪以来旅居澳门的作家作品。因此，葡萄牙作家如何感知中国文化成为了一个重要的研究课题，而了解中国人如何看待葡萄牙同样也是具有挑战性的研究。
China is present in Portuguese literature, not only in the journeys of the Portuguese navigators, but also in those of the writers who have been especially going to Macao over the last centuries. Therefore, the way in which Portuguese writers have perceived Chinese culture is a subject of investigation. Likewise, it seems challenging trying to understand the vision that the Chinese convey from Portugal.
这此前提之下，中葡两种语言的教学及作品的翻译显得尤为重要，亦为此次国际大会重点研讨的内容之一。
With this in mind, it is also important to recognize the teaching efforts of the two languages, as well as the two-way translation: Chinese works translated into Portuguese and Portuguese works translated into Chinese.
3. 文化与旅游 Culture & Tourism
几个世纪以来，中国和葡萄牙之间的交流往来一直是两国关系的核心内容，旅行是联系和巩固人民友谊与文化交流的主要支柱之一。
The subject of travels has been the central element of Portugal’s relationship with China for several centuries. Traveling has always been one of the main mainstays in linking and consolidating relations between nations and cultures.
本专题论坛旨在研究旅游产业与葡萄牙在华文化影响间的关系，并就以往的旅游休闲方式及未来的发展趋势展开讨论。
The main end of this panel will be the study of the relations between tourism and the cultural evidences of the Portuguese presence in China. Thus, tourism and leisure undertaken in the past will be addressed, as well as the ways they may be developed in the future.
4. 艺术对话 Artistic Dialogues
中国对西方的开放，特别是与葡萄牙之间的合作，使两国在音乐、戏剧、舞蹈、视听、多媒体和设计等艺术文化领域的知识得以有效地交流与传播。
China’s opening up to the West and its cooperation with Portugal in particular has enabled the circulation and exchange of knowledge between the two countries, for instance at the artistic and cultural fields, within the spheres of music, theater, dance, audiovisual, multimedia and design.
本主题论坛旨在讨论中葡两国之间不同形式的艺术互动，并增进参会者对该领域内发展项目的认知与了解。
The aim is to discuss the different forms of artistic interaction between Portugal and China and to raise awareness of the projects developed in these areas.
